The presidential candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Kola Abiola has expressed optimism and confidence about winning the 2023 election in Nigeria. Speaking on Wednesday in Abuja at the national secretariat of the PRP, the younger Abiola said just like his father, Chief MKO Abiola emerged victorious in the 1993 presidential election, he is confident of victory in the 2023 presidential election.

A counsel to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, Aloy Ejimakor, has charged the Federal Government of Nigeria to reveal how his client was arrested and extradited. Ejimakor in a statement released on Monday described the extradition of the IPOB leader as illegal and a “gross misconduct”.
