The Nigerian army has recorded a new success against the deadly Boko Haram sect in Borno state.
Daily Post reports that the troops have killed 50 insurgents while rescuing 500 people in an operation around Mafa, Dikwa and Kala areas.
The areas were constantly terrorised by the Boko Haram terrorists.
The interference of the army resulted in rescuing of over 500 people, mostly women and children.
